Six-Step Quality Control Process

Our construction company follows a detailed six-step quality control process to ensure that all employees, including craft, trade, and management staff, are properly trained, thoroughly understand the project requirements, and adhere to the highest quality standards before and during the execution of each project.

Step 1 - Scope & Responsibilities Meeting

We begin by defining the full scope of work, assigning responsibilities, and reviewing roles across the team—including subcontractors and partners—to align everyone with the quality control plan.

Step 2 - Pre-Work Coordination Meeting

Before work starts, we meet with all team members to review project goals, safety standards, and quality expectations. This ensures clear alignment and sets the stage for consistent execution.

Step 3 - Workforce Preparation & Training

One to two weeks before each phase, employees receive focused training on project requirements, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks to ensure readiness from day one.

Step 4 - Initial Quality Inspection

A sample or trial run is completed and reviewed before full-scale work begins. This early check confirms quality standards and allows for quick corrections.

Step 5 - Ongoing Quality Inspections

Every two to four weeks, we conduct inspections to monitor progress, correct deviations, and reinforce training—keeping the work on track and up to standard.

Step 6 - Final Quality Review

At each phase’s end, a final inspection ensures all quality criteria are met. A final walkthrough confirms the work is complete and ready for client approval.

01 Preparatory

Pre-construction meeting by definable feature of work

Use established pre-construction meetings agendas for consistency

02 Initial

Initial inspection with established checklists at the start of definable features of work

Use established checklist in BIM360 for lessons learned and consistency

03 Follow Up

Continous inspections with established checklists by areas

Use BIM360 to closeout areas throughout the project with issues management visible to the owner

Zero Punchlist

Perform punchlist by smaller areas for each trade throughout the project to achieve Zeo Punchlist at the end of the project.

To achieve Zero Punchlist we implement the “Punch as you Build” philosophy.
